• Collaborated with EVP of Design and Merchandising to analyze best sellers, determine fabric requirements, and develop seasonal strategies. Redeveloped personal samples and shopping samples in fabric and garment construction. Presented new tailoring samples/test garments for upcoming season.
• Traveled to China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, and Vietnam, sourcing and assessing mills, factories, and wash houses. Worked with factories on garment sample and embroidery development, denim washes, and production issues (pilling, shrinkage, crocking, handfeel, labels, and disclaimer tags).
• Worked cross-functionally to ensure strategies achieved goals across the organization.
- Design/Tech Design: Collaborated on concept/inspiration shopping, color and trend forecasting, denim wash trial developments, and embroidery layout. Requested mock-ups, lab dips, special requests, and hand loom reviews. Attended fit sessions to resolve fabric concerns. Requested fabric for PPS/SS/TOP sample making.
- Merchandising: Worked on costing, pricing, finalizing fabric line plans, essential/replenishment fabric injections, and chase orders.
- Production: Developed sample yardage allocations, delivery requirements, Time and Action calendar, fabric testing, care labels, and fabric defects/claims.
- CAD: Assigned fabric base qualities for printing; submitted artwork to mills and factories.

Sourced and developed high quality fabrics for renowned women's ready-to-wear (RTW) collection and presented detailed design concepts to the Creative Director and CEO.
