<p>I have a background in sales, customer service, and operations. </p>

Responsible for managing operations of customer accounts and growing these accounts by developing relationships with the customer contacts, planners, and facilities to increase volume and gross margin.  Tasked with building loads, scheduling appointments, and ensuring their loads are serviced properly.  Responsible for identifying problems and providing a resolution that is satisfactory to the customer and Coyote.  Maintained a basic understanding of market and pricing trends of various loads and lanes while negotiating with our customers.

Operations Representative

Focused on the brokerage aspect of the company, by helping customers move their inventory in the most cost-effective way by identifying and providing logistics solutions. I was able to create and manage my own individual portfolio of accounts through constant communication with carriers. These conversations included, but were not limited to, determining carrier availability, negotiating rates based on market trends, and identifying and resolving issues. Additional business was generated through inside sales by way of industry referrals and prospecting.
As a Sales Representative, I participated in the UPS Peak Project which gave me the opportunity to gain hands-on industry experience onsite at one of UPS's hubs for 6 weeks. Operations Coordinator 

Carrier Sales Representative 

Accepted, built, and scheduled all customer shipments, including all pertinent information and documentation
Managed daily load board and take responsibility for ensuring that loads are serviced properly
Built and maintained relationships with carrier department to ensure loads are tracked and updated in a timely manner

•	Display awareness of the Duluth brand, offer comprehensive product knowledge and information regarding promotions/advertisements, to provide solution-oriented service based on customer appeal & needs.
•	Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, offering fitting room assistance, and taking the extra step in offering all components of guest service.

Completed a project that entailed finding what high schools in winter sports do not have the proper backgrounds that we use. 
Wrote highlights of girls and boys hockey, which entailed short, but detailed sentences of the games. 

Sports Reporter

•	Find, create, and organize Red Cross stories and pictures, including those from CPR classes, disaster responses, youth programs and other events and activities.  
•	Assist in writing and distributing press releases specific to regional Red Cross activities. 
•	Assist with work for chapter and regional leadership to write and pitch local stories to local media via video or photo.
•	Take Photo’s and Video’s of sponsors and donor’s to be used for social media to gain representation on social media 
•	Creating social media ideas for posts and also Managing social media outlets 
•	Write a script and develop a storyboard for a Home Fire Campaign video 
•	Reach out to media outlets to update media records

Communications Intern

•	Assemble all raw footage with camera shots either recorded or transferred onto video tape in preparation for inputting into the computer
•	Input uncut rushes and sound, and synchronize and store them into files on the computer
•	Digitally cut the files using Adobe Premiere to put together the sequence of the film and decide what is useable  
•	Create a 'rough cut' (or assembly edit) of the program/film and determine the exact cutting for the next and final stages
•	Record and tweak the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the video


Video Editing Internship

•	Filmed home games for regional ECHL hockey team for team to review during practices
•	Transferred the recordings to three discs - for the Mallards, the away team, and the referees
•	Cut highlights of goals for the mallards and the away team during the games


Volunteer Videographer

•	Filmed Hill-Murray High School Girls Varsity and Junior Varsity Hockey team to be used by coaches to further their competitive strategies against opponents
•	Utilized time management skills to ensure coaches received the finish products by assigned due dates
•	Communicated with coaches on videography techniques, including from what vantage point to shoot the games, specific players to focus on for various plays, and cutting any downtime from the final product


•	Conceptualized and implemented marketing strategies using Facebook and Twitter to convince general public to utilize the services www.winkitnow.com 
•	Completed inventory to ensure all merchandise was available and accounted for, notifying manager if new purchases needed to be made
•	Modeled for Winkit’s website and on Twin Cities Live, a TV show in Minnesota which highlights small businesses and hot topics around the twin cities
