Seeking motivated professional(s) with seasoned sales skills and a mind for marketing. Opportunity to grow DYNAFIT and SILVRETTA backcountry ski brands in the following territory:
Rocky Mountain Region (Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico)
Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana)
Deadline for resume or proposal submission: June 12th
Requirements:
• Enthusiasm, drive and passion for the sport of backcountry skiing.
• Proven ability to partner with retailers, going beyond “just another clinic” and providing the spark to ignite growth and help them succeed.
• Ability to effectively cover this large territory and maximize hands-on time with retailers, including: sales management, clinics, on snow training, events and demos.
• Play a key role in planning and implementing the marketing strategy.
• In addition, ability to open new doors in Resort and Alpine Ski markets, with our Alpine Cross-Over product line. Confidence in the Alpine Ski Market is essential.
• At least 3 years experience selling to specialty outdoor retailers
• Extensive current account base among outdoor specialty retailers
• Do not currently represent direct competitors (complementary lines encouraged)
• Strong computer skills with basic business applications
• Strong attention to detail

• SALEWA North America is the North American Subsidiary of parent company SALEWA, selling and servicing the Dynafit and silvretta brands in the United States and Canada. Located in Boulder, Colorado.
• “Backcountry” is the buzzword in skiing today. Alpine Touring is the skiing style of choice for serious adventurers, introductory backcountry skiers and those heading out-of-bounds. Dynafit is now the brand of choice for the finest AT boots, skis and bindings on the market. Silvretta is a longtime leader in the step-in AT binding market.

• A passion for backcountry skiing combined with great account management skills and tireless travel are just the start.
• We are seeking professionals who can fire up shop employees, open closed minds, and get people “into the club”. Key is to go beyond selling core products like bindings, and to succeed in selling the world’s best AT boots, skis, and accessories as well.
• We are searching for the right people to participate in the Dynafit and backcountry skiing revolution. We are not looking necessarily for reps or agencies or employees. The right candidate will help guide the role. The growth potential is huge, and only the right passionate people will be considered
