It was in 1976 that Henry Larrucea and his partner decided to make better skateboard wheels right here in Southern California where skateboarding was exploding. These two surfers turned skateboarders were determined to help grow the sport they loved. From their humble beginnings came such product names as Vision Blurrs, Hobie YoYo’s, Power Paw, Sawblades, Sim’s Snakes, Dogtown Wheels, and Alva Wheels to name just a few. Elasco is proud of being part of skateboarding’s history and developing new products through the 70’ s, 80’s, 90’s and now into the 21st Century.
