It is my pleasure to present Greenpacha, hats for a better world. As I traveled around Ecuador following the Hat Path, I fell in love with the beautiful headwear art. I decided to start a company to both preserve the tradition and celebrate the hat makers of Ecuador. Greenpacha gives back 2% of sales to the handcrafting hat communities of Ecuador. Our original Panama hats are hand woven from Toquilla Palm, which only grows in Ecuador. While traditional Panama hats have been known for over 200 years, at Greenpacha we are a fusion of tradition and innovation. Our hat collection and our business practices are geared towards the building of a better world. Pacha means "times" in the Aymara (Inca) language. Greenpacha means "green times".
