Gymwrap was created by Nicole Ari Parker in 2011 because she understood first-hand the struggles many women face when protecting their hair while exercising. She spent many hours in her kitchen, taking apart her husband Boris Kodjoe’s athletic performance shirts and sewing together prototypes. After many attempts, the first Gymwrap was created.

The original products drew a loyal community, and the brand has since expanded to offer a complete performance sweat gear line including the newest products, The Pony 2.0 and The Hat 2.0. The line builds on Gymwrap’s legacy of pioneering advancements in performance sweat gear, based on its patented EvapoCOOL™ and EdgeTECH™ innovations. The brand tailors to the wide-ranging needs and daily routines of its inclusive community of fitness enthusiasts of all levels.

Proceeds from Gymwrap sales will benefit the Kodjoe Family Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to support Global Health and Wellness Initiatives in multicultural communities.
