Overview Roxo Design, a small design firm is looking for a Freelance Web Developer to work on a series of upcoming projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and foundation in .Net, PHP, C#, JavaScript, CSS and have significant experience with Content Management Systems such as Wordpress and Drupal. Description Responsibilities: ¥ Develop and deploy websites, web based applications, and mobile sites. ¥ Work closely with the design team to implement page designs in standards-compliant XHTML and CSS. ¥ Provide estimates on timelines and development efforts, consult and answer questions regarding technical aspects of a project or component. ¥ Responsible for delivering Web applications utilizing our project management process in the delivery of products and services to our demanding clients. ¥ Advise project groups on appropriate user-centered design methods to include in their project plans. ¥ Interacting and providing proper communication at all times. We use Skype & Harvest on a routinely basis. ¥ Communicate and collaborate with members of management and development team throughout all phases of development. ¥ Ensures that requirements are clearly defined and tested. ¥ May be responsible for the maintenance, training, and information communications for tools used to support the web application development process. ¥ Provides analytical, technical and business expertise to the group and completes assignments which require this expertise on an accurate timeline. Qualifications Skills/ Experience: ¥ 5+ years experience in designing and developing User Interfaces for web based applications ¥ 5+ years experience in web development, C#, ASP.NET 4.0, AJAX based applications ¥ 4+ years experience creating and implementing design prototypes using HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP.NET, MS Access, SQL databases and Rich Media Formats. ¥ Experience with .Net CMS, CRM and Ecommerce systems ¥ Fluency in interpreting systems architecture and use cases ¥ 2+ years Experience with low and high fidelity prototyping involving XML data integrations. ¥ 4+ years experience in all stages of software development. ¥ Knowledge of the Agile-based and Scrum software development methodology. Additional Favorable Experience: ¥ PHP/ MySQL ¥ Experience with Sitefinity or Telerik ¥ Experience in Flash and Action Script, Web Video player ¥ Experience in Silverlight ¥ Iphone/iPad application Development ¥ Sense of Humor!
