What started as a class project at San Diego State University is now a company impacting thousands of lives around the world. SOLO Eyewear is a line of eco-friendly sunglasses where each pair purchased funds eye care for people in need. Since launching in 2011, SOLO Eyewear has restored vision for nearly 10,000 people through the funding of eyeglasses and cataract surgeries. SOLO's collection of hybrid bamboo sunglasses is handcrafted and features polarized lenses. In addition to their classic styles, SOLO launched an artist collection which features custom, hand-painted temples on the frames of their glasses.
