The Weber Cultural Legacy Foundation, dba, the GOAL Foundation, is a non-profit organization whose mission is: to inspire the greater Ogden Community and its visitors to “Get Out and Live” by participating, volunteering and spectating at recreational events, programs and activities.

Position Overview:
The Marketing, Sponsorship, and Development Manager shall have three key areas of responsibility to help promote the events, programs, and mission of the GOAL Foundation. The Marketing, Sponsorship, and Development Manager is a very unique position in the organization and should represent the GOAL Foundation and draw upon a range of design and marketing skills. This position will serve as a liaison between staff members and the programs and events they manage, as well as a liaison between current and potential consumers, sponsors and donors. This position reports to the Executive Director.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

1. Marketing - create and execute a yearly marketing calendar for all events and programs of the GOAL Foundation to include online, website, social media, print campaigns and press releases. Responsible for content development of all related collateral, website management and content, and brand management. Maintain photo and other media files. Establish and expand merchandise opportunities. Assist with vendor sales support and help market the Ogden Marathon Fun & Fitness Expo. Measure and report growth of registrations and programs based on marketing campaigns and efforts.

2. Sponsorship – cultivate and expand sponsorship development and fulfillment, to include researching potential future sponsors and assist with sponsor sales. Serve as a liaison between all internal staff and sponsors and execute sponsor contracts. Negotiate and coordinate in kind sponsor partnerships. Design and prepare sponsor proposals and sponsor follow-up reports. Manage sponsor asset lists and coordinate delivery of assets between internal staff and sponsors. Track and report delivery of sponsor assets to show sponsor ROI.

3. Development – assist in the creation and event planning of our annual Day of Giving fundraising campaign and other prospect engagement event management. Content development, data collection, and design of donor reports and presentations to include the organization’s Annual Report, e-solicitation campaigns, GOAL’s Case for Support, and donor recognition. Cultivate and implement, with the Executive Director, a business-based donor development program. Identify potential donors and engagement opportunities and work with the Executive Director on face-to-face fundraising.
