Department: Commercial Reports to: Senior Manager, Global Channel MarketingLocation:North Vancouver, B.CYour Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:The Program Manager, Trade Marketing, plays a critical role in raising Arc’teryx brand awareness and product education through national activities involving our B2B retail partners. In partnership with our Commercial Team, they are responsible for identifying, developing, and executing National Trade Marketing activations with these retail partners in North America. These activations focus on bringing the Coast Mountain Experience to Shop Pros and Wholesale Customers through elevated tactics that happen inside and outside of our wholesale partner doors. In this role, you are obsessed with our Coast Mountain culture and creating experiences that further express our love of climb/ski/trail at every activation. You strive to build brand affinity with and through our wholesale partners and support the growth of the brand in the market.Please note this role is temporary for a duration of twelve (12) to eighteen (18) months. This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. Meet Your Future Team:The Canada Commercial team is accountable for delivering sales through all local channels. We meet the guest where they are shopping and ensure Arc’teryx is represented consistently and at its best. As the retail landscape changes, we will work together to evolve our approach with creativity and teamwork.If you were the Program Manager, Trade Marketing, now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:! Ideating and selecting the marketing programs that will be most impactful to the wholesale business in the regions! Managing programs from conception to execution, and from budget creation to recap and analysis ! Building marketing programs to directly align and drive the North America Commercial business goals. (ex. Brand Affinity, Product Training, Coast Mountain Experience)! Analyzing and determining the best markets within the region for new and existing programs involving sales data review, cross functional business analysis and critical analysis with the goal of defining what it means for a trade marketing program to be successful! Preparing, managing, and delivering trade marketing programs, including Shop Pro Training to Academy Dealer Camps to National Account co-hosted events! Leading and overseeing timelines and project management for all program activations! Creating program management tools to enable end to end launch execution, including vendor management, onboarding, and event organization with regional market teams! Creating actionable toolkits that can be regionally modified and locally executed to best impact the market! Creating an annual trade marketing programs budget and fiscally manage it through the year! Tracking and monitoring individual program budgets and measure the success of these investments! Managing and delivering the share back (“beta”) of the programs to the broader North America team (email recaps, huddle presentations) ! Leading the cross functional enrollment of regional teams for the execution of these programs! Working in collaboration with the Global Brand Experiences team on creating wholesale experiences and programs to drive brand awareness within our retail partners! Aligning the trade marketing program strategy, by season, with the Brand marketing calendar and Local Community programmingHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:! Aligning with National Commercial Managers on the business goals of the region, CA & USA! Collaborating cross functionally with Brand, Digital, Allocations, Retail, Public Relations,! Determining success metrics for programs and reporting on what worked by type, location, and market, and managing the debrief process with the Commercial TeamAre you our next Program Manager, Trade Marketing?! You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, or 5+ year’s prior experience in a similar role! You are able to work well in a team setting and with various levels within the organization! You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect, influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels ! You are able to understand a budget, and have strong overall analytical capabilities! You have the ability to organize and manage multiple, time sensitive projects! You are able to work cross-functionally! You have experience working with retailers, preferably in the outdoor industry! You have strong computer skills – excel, outlook, word, PowerPoint! You have excellent oral, written and presentation skills! You are self-motivated, committed, tenacious and goal-oriented! You are energetic and passionate! You have a positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude! You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity! You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration!
