The primary responsibilities of the Wholesale Sales Coordinator are to support the sales team to drive sales goals, facilitate communication between the field sales team and corporate HQ departments, support the Director, Wholesale with key account appointment preparation, and manage the sample process.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Years of Related Professional Experience: 1-3.
- BS/BA in Business or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous retail or wholesale experience desirable.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD work, SAP.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects with the ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Exceptional follow through.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent project management skills.
Special Requirements:
- Travel: 15%
Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitates communication and sales support between corporate sales and the sales team, including new Sales Representative start up. Create marketing briefs as needed for sales department functions. Assist in creation of selling tools. Manage field account requests process for product information i.e. spec measurements, CAD's.
2. Accountable for the creation and production of the seasonal workbook from top to bottom.
3. Attend regional trade shows and manage the travel process associated with trade show events.
4. Work with dealer services to facilitate new account set up, reporting, and sales support.
5. Works with Sales Directors on Key Accounts presentations including PowerPoint presentations, making sure appropriate samples are available, and that the meeting rooms are properly outfitted. Coordinator will also own the process of new accounts.
6. Manages the sales sample process. Secures proper storage of the samples at headquarters, outfitting the showrooms, checking samples in from vendors (for wholesale/product), out to retailers, keeping all samples lines current and in proper order, and managing the sample disposal process.
7. Manage the Line list to wholesale selects.
8. Develops expertise with product line.
9. Manage communication process to approve any wholesale exclusive SMU's - route through PLM then to Planning. The coordinator will be responsible for the hand off documents to planning.
10. Mailings to accounts and outside sales force. Ad hoc reporting as necessary. Perform these and all other duties as assigned.
