This sales management position requires a minimum five years experience selling apparel and you will be extensively traveling throughout the western state region opening new accounts, servicing existing customers, and being an ambassador to the outdoor and climbing community. A company vehicle will be provided and compensation is salary, benefits, bonus and all expenses paid.

You will be depended upon to build the region’s sales and retail relations through store visits, attending events, setting up brand tents, conducting product demonstrations and give-a-ways at up to 20 events each year. Being an active participant in outdoor sports is a major plus.

You will be responsible for managing sales in a geographic region including the following states: California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.

General Position Summary:
This regional position will manage all sales functions for the assigned territory you will pioneer new accounts and service existing top strategic accounts within the region. Responsibilities include calling on existing customer base of specialty stores, managing and developing business initiatives to drive retail profit, researching market opportunities, and being an astute student of their retail customer needs.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
• Directly sell and manage all Outdoor dealer accounts within the geographic region.
• Co-devise territory objectives/projections by account and track and assess seasonally.
• Act as liaison between customer service and our customers to ensure all retailer needs and Gramicci requirements are met.
• Develop strategies to maximize sales within the geographic region. Provide direction at regional meetings, sales meetings, product meetings and account meetings.
• Maintain positive, open lines of communication with all management, staff and other departments in order to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the organization.

Position Requirements/Compensation/etc...
• Compensation is base salary plus bonus.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years direct sales experience in the apparel / outdoor industry.
