The e-Commerce Manager will work closely with the Director, e-Commerce to identify strategic opportunities for development as well as assuring that the day-to-day operations are maximized. The e-Commerce Manager will oversee traffic driving marketing goals (PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Loyalty, CRM/Email). The role is essential to the lucy brand's goal of creating a world class e-Commerce business. The e-Commerce Manager will drive strategic direction and implementation to optimize the e-Commerce site, develop its infrastructure, and analyze and evaluate data to achieve our ecommerce vision. Establish control-related standards and procedures.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Years of Related Professional Experience: 5+.
- 5+ years of experience working in an online or e-Commerce environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Retail e-Commerce experience is required.
- Experience with internet based technology platform.
Skills:
- Strong analytical/modeling skills with ability to convert raw data into actionable business insights
- Proficiency in Excel is required, including experience with charting, large data sets and macros.
- Experience with web analytics tools such as Coremetrics, site spec or Tealeaf is preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written and data presentation skills a must-have.
- Passion for retail e-Commerce analytics is a requirement. Huge opportunity to make an impact on the direction and success of the e-Commerce business.
- Strong understanding of e-Commerce technology, including platform, payment process, content management, etc.
- Ability to guide 3rd party development team to due dates and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive strategic direction and optimization of lucy e-Commerce site.
2. Oversee site infrastructure development, technology recommendations and enhancement.
3. Own all Web Analytics, CRM, A/B testing and competitive intelligence tools.
4. Develop processes that improve business intelligence tools/systems. Drive reporting consistency that supports an Omnichannel view of DTC.
