In college, I cofounded an annual TEDxConference at Colorado State University for two years with my colleague. Our mission was to create an event with the environment where all ideas were welcome, so long as they were engaging and possessed something universal beyond the background or specialty they were cultivated from. We were successful in creating community funded events of 1,500 and 650 over the course of two years. We later passed down the organization, fully intact with our mission and protocols, and have remained in contact as a means for support. I moved to New York where I worked as a researcher and freelance writer for other authors and online publications. I began to manage a growing coffee shop chain (Pushcart coffee) where I rewrote and implemented new training protocols, interpersonal interactions with staff and customers, and ran business and communication audits by interviews, while cross referencing sociological and business theories as guidance. This was done in order to promote growth while also maintaining a sturdy sense the company's business mission while undergoing change. I felt my main responsibility was to strengthen our community aspects, and have a more dependable, friendly, and efficient manner in working with one another.

Written for various journals and online publications. Works vary from political to personal essays, and op-ed pieces, sighting both personal and researched opinions. My style changes and is inflected based on the publications desires. This garners what I hope to be a unique, yet palatable work that meets the standards of the journal or source, nor deter's from it's overarching mission.
