I worked directly with a Senior Design Manager creating graphics for all outdoor end-use categories at Under Armour. This includes Hunting, Fishing, Freedom (military support & tactical), and Outdoor Performance (trail running, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and watersports). With a focus on designing t-shirts graphics, these regularly influence other areas of the business and I collaborate with various teams on a daily basis to ensure brand consistency. I have worked on numerous seasonal collections in the Outdoor category and have led and helped dictate concept development, design direction, and execution of graphics contributing in the range of $10-20 million worth of department growth. I have an acute sense of designing for margin efficiency and understand business implications from a creative perspective. Worked with Senior Designer to create seasonal prints and repeat patterns for men’s and women’s end- uses within all categories (training, running, basketball, baseball, golf, and outdoor). I was responsible for following new creative direction and coming up with unique designs for the following seasons: SS15, FW15, SS16, FW16, SS18, and FW18. Led design and development of stripes and jacquards for all golf polos, including exclusive designs for Jordan Speith’s Masters win. Developed conceptual print presentations to upper level management to tell a cohesive brand story. Onboarded two new hires and managed two interns. Worked directly with the color team to maintain trend relevancy and stay in sync with designs “Go-to-Market” color strategies. Traveled to Thailand, Taiwan, and Japan to learn the manufacturing process and work with factories and mills to improve design efficiencies.
