Professional Weather/Surf Forecaster and Online Media Professional specializing in web-content management, email marketing, SEO, and PPC campaigns. Hands-on experience with several CMS, email delivery, analytics, and ad-serving systems both in the client and vendor role.
I have been a professional meteorologist and surf forecaster since 1999 and have worked for many of the popular surf sites like TransworldSURF, Surfline, Wavewatch, and Fuel.TV. Currently I am responsible for the core products of Solspot’s human driven surf forecasting and reporting, which is focused on providing easy-to-understand, and hopefully entertaining, weather and surf forecasts for outdoor sports enthusiasts.
Over the course of my career I have been the Official Forecaster for Billabong’s XXL big-wave contest, the Tow-In World Cup, The Vans Triple Crown (with contests at Haleiwa, Pipeline, and Sunset Beach), US Open in Huntington Beach, and numerous other contests and events spread throughout the globe, covering everything from ASP World Championship Tour events at J-Bay in South Africa to the NSSA Nationals at Lower Trestles.
