The Athenian restaurant
In terms of volunteering | 12/2018 - Current
Box Park Wembley December 2018 - Current date
Working at a fast-paced restaurant has enabled me to develop my time, organisational skills as well as my communication. As well as the following, I am able to cook, grill and operate on the till during busy hours.
Skills and abilities:
In terms of volunteering, on Sundays, I partake in becoming a linesman for the first team of the team Forest United. Furthermore, I help the coaching of the younger age groups, enabling them to enjoy the spectacular sport that football really is. In addition, during my time at Ark Academy, I was heavily involved in the success of the Year 8 football team. Every week, I would expose them to the rigorous training that led to their success as well as training them to be respectable sportsmen.
Furthermore, as I captain my local midweek semi- professional football team, Wealdstone FC. I am able to improve my teamwork and social skills as I am constantly telling others within the team what to do and how to get better.
Another skill which I have been able to develop over time is my time management. For example, in my business course I constantly organise events such as elderly events to careers show. This has enabled me to significantly improve the way I conduct myself in the time I have been designated.
Lloyd's Banking Group
Marketing Intern | 03/2018 - 03/2018
During my time at Lloyds Banking Group I was able to work with professionals on the development of the new Lloyds Banking Group marketing campaign which set to reach out to people who are suffering from mental health. As well as the following I was able to learn the inside outs of the business and how they look to reach out to its customers.
Teaching Assistant - The Village School (3rd - 10th Sept 2017)
At my time at The Village School I worked as a teaching assistant to help support children aged from 8 - 10 with learning difficulties. As well as the following I supervised children during lunches and breaks.
