Allen Randolph: Production Supervior/Senior Editor in Oceanside, CA

When I left Herring Networks, I joined IEP (Interactive Entertainment Professionals), where we create online course content for people looking to get into the video game industry. We are a small crew, but put out a lot of content in a short period of time, all in 4K.

I was in charge of 18 editors and 18 producers, as well as 5 camera operators and 2 graphic designers and 1 sound editor at our most staffed time at AWE, which is the national broadcast network they own. I set broadcast standards, staffed and made sure deadlines were hit. I also dealt with outside vendors and distributors for content delivery. I dealt with a digital workflow and servers, as well as digital archiving. I also edited and wrote television shows and promos, and was the main voice over talent for all network promos and some of the un-hosted television shows, as well as hosting on camera occasionally.

I learned you to edit and shoot here, as well as learning all aspects of production and post production, editing on the Avid Media composer.
