Thousand Oaks Barrel Co.

Email Marketing Coordinator, Operations Manager, Digital Marketing Strategist | 06/2017 - 01/2020

MARKETING • SOCIAL MEDIA • PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT • Conceptualizing new strategies for our retail site and utilizing available web tools in order to enhance user experience, increase organic exposure on various search engines, and overall revenue. • Managing and designing promotional post for newly launched product in order to maximize visibility to both retail and wholesale customers on all social media platforms such as Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, and Google. • Revamped over 500 Amazon listings that were missing key details which led to a $62k increase of sales from 2017 and 2018 in just a two month period. • Attended the Internet Retailer Conference and Exhibition (IRCE) in Chicago, IL where I was able to attend workshops targeted toward our core goals at the time. As a result, I was able to get a better graso of our Amazon and ecommerce initiatives and utilized the knowledge, not only for our retail sales but sharing this knowledge with our drop ship clients as well. OPERATIONS • TRAINING • PRODUCTION • Provided hands on training to new employees that focused on the initial processes that were vital to the down-stream through art, print production, quality assurance, and shipping. • Created training material that detailed step by step instruction for retail, drop ship, and distillery orders via QuickBooks, client portals, Amazon, Etsy, ShipStation, and our CS-Cart based ecommerce sites. • Managed and communicated with bigger clients such as Uncommon Goods, Wine Enthusiast, Hammacher Schlemmer, The Grommet, and Wayfair to ensure their cutoffs were being met, return request were resolved, and overall satisfaction was exceeded. • Provided daily art proof project confirmations to clients and from time to time alternative design concepts for specific promotions for clients like Elijah Craig, Jim Beam, and Woodford Reserve. • Administered quality assurance prior to orders being distributed to each department, as well as prior to being shipped. This aided me to hold certain departments accountable for missing instructional notes or grammar, and spelling errors. This helped us work as a team to determine various tactics to decrease these errors. • Developed and customized an inventory database using "Sortly" in order to provide accurate quantities of barrels, promotional products, and hand crafted substrate. Never having a inventory system for the promotional products prior led to products being ordered too often or not often enough.
