TERRITORY ACCOUNT MANAGER | 01/2018 - 03/2019
TWL (Transport Wholesale Limited) is a subsidiary of the Gough Group and they are a specialised supplier of transport engineering, workshop parts and OEM equipment.
Role Purpose
Responsible for the sale of all TWL products to meet / exceed specified financial targets (revenue, gross
margin), while developing strong relationships with clients in the assigned territory so that Gough TWL is at the forefront when buying decisions are made.
Responsibilities
• Achieving sales growth through professional communication with existing and potential clients.
• Managing key client accounts by understanding their business and implementing acute forecasting of product stock requirements for regional stock levels.
• Promoting TWL products to meet and exceed specified financial targets.
• Utilising needs analysis through the practice of active listening and questions to effectively up sell, cross
sell, solution sell.
• Attend industry events and staff training modules to up skill and maintain product knowledge. Utilise this
knowledge to identify needs and gain customer commitment.
• Customer service
o Coordinating Customer Service Representatives within my territory to provide exemplary service to customers.
o Demonstrating an understanding of operational processes as they relate to the OEM, aftermarket
parts and mechanical engineering industry.
o Monitoring key account monthly spending, manage their issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner to ensure an excellent client relationship is maintained.
• Call Cycle Planning and Execution
o Creating and implementation of an effective call cycle in my established territory which included
potential cold calls as well as maintaining a consistent call cycle with current clients.
o Maintaining efficiency and time management to develop consistency with my established territory
call cycle.
• Product knowledge and market Intelligence
o Maintaining an extensive working knowledge of the heavy transportation industry, safety
requirements and remain up-to-date with new regulations as the industry develops.
o Displaying an up-to-date knowledge of all TWL products and their applications, market conditions, customer and competitor activities. Creating detailed interaction reports with my findings when
necessary.
o Analysing territory/market potential for business growth.
• Representing TWL
o Ensuring that personal presentation and conduct is always professional and represents the best
interests of the company.
o Responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of my company vehicle in accordance with my
contractual obligations and company policy.

Bank of New Zealand is one of New Zealand's biggest banks and has been operating in the country since the first office was opened in Auckland in October 1861.
At the time when I joined the Bank of New Zealand (BNZ), I considered it to be an amazing opportunity
career-wise. Entering the financial industry was a humbling experience and it gave me a new perspective of how important customer relationships are. In my two years with BNZ I achieved an incredible amount of
personal growth as well as gaining a further understanding of client relations and increasing my professional
sales techniques. Receiving a promotion to Head Customer Service Consultant involved me displaying my
management skills, while maintaining my usual day to day tasks.
Responsibilities
• Promoting and selling banking products and services to new and existing clients through quality
conversations, identifying their financial needs and referring them to the appropriate specialist.

successfully operating for 16 months I decided to sell my client list and to focus on my full-time career.
