Manager of 24 x 7 operations of storeroom and Warehouse operations in support of the Kaiser Trentwood facility. Responsible for team of 12 direct reports and $15MM in MRO materials and operational spare parts. Oversees inventory control system including shipping and receiving, warehousing, plant distribution, cycle counting, item master and part description maintenance, obsolete inventory review and disposal and workforce planning and budgeting. Duties also include interfacing with department heads in support of operational needs, negotiating and implementing long term supply and service contracts as needed and mentorship of department Buyers and internal customers related to procurement policy and best practices.

Capital Procurement Agent: Member of Corporate Capital Procurement team responsible for corporate-wide project procurement. Independently responsible for procurement strategy of projects assigned, including working with stakeholders to review RFx plan and requirements, negotiation of contract language and terms, cost tracking, and progress reporting to senior leadership. Duties also include working with internal stakeholders to formulate specifications, management of vendor relationships, conduct annual performance reviews of selected suppliers, and regularly mentor plant site MRO Buyers on standard work and best practices. Also responsible for coordinating departments junior level buyers work load and development through management and mentorship activities. Activities include training, resource coordination, monitoring of development, performance evaluation and reporting.

Member of purchasing group responsible for the procurement of assigned commodities and capital equipment in support of the natural gas and electricity delivery systems. Responsible for the implementation and management of key materials contracts with duties that include the management of the RFx process, cost analysis, supplier recommendation, negotiation of terms, and contract creation. Also involved with the periodic review and evaluation of supplier performance, facilitation of communications between internal stakeholders and external customers, and internal procurement representative for supported commodities. Duties also include seeking out new sources of supply and placing spot buys as needed.

Senior member of buying team responsible for the procurement of raw materials with annual expenditure over $50MM. Responsibilities include the review of material requirements, on-hand inventory levels, planned orders and long range forecasting to manage supply chain needs. Daily communication with international and domestic suppliers to monitor quality and delivery expectations. Continuous review of material pricing through market analysis and the RFx process. Management of the bi-annual raw material evaluation process to determine the best sourcing strategies, including qualification of potential suppliers and performance evaluations of current suppliers. Facilitate resolution of quality issues with suppliers and internal departments. Assist with development and redesign of products to insure maximum cost savings.
