I am currently a customer experience guide at the Patagonia outlet in Reno. I have learned many skills throughout my time here at the outlet including the ins and outs of salesforce, event planning and impeccable customer service exemplified by the company. I attended a Gore-Tex conference in October, learning about various waterproof membranes as well as the care program that customers could possibly use to make their gear last longer. I have pushed to extend grassroots connections for the store, developing a relationship with a local snowboard brand called “Hardway” and supporting their grand opening.

I started as the social chair two summers ago, I helped organize events for the students in the social club as well as create sweatshirts for them. There are about 380 students on the social club. I was then elected as President of the club, shifting more responsibility to me. I help to navigate the channels of UNR bureaucracy to achieve funding for all facets of the club. I stood as the number one contact for club members who need assistance with club matters in any way.
I was also heavily involved in the freeride team, helping to create gifts to give the members as well as organize trips to freeride competitions. The freeride team competes in collegiate IFSA competitions.
