Developed reporting portals and document repositories in SharePoint 2010 Foundation. Developed a number of applications using SQL Server Integration Services 2008 for the purposes of automating manual tasks. Some of these applications saved employees dozens of hours a week. Served as the primary technical resource for the Financial Systems department. Heavily relied on as the primary resource to solve the most complex reporting requirements and data integration/automation issues. The reports, stored procedures, SSIS, and DTS solutions that I have produced are used as a model for other solutions. Guided three other developers in a major migration from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition sixty four bit. Have also worked with security, backup. Worked with a team to upgrade a VB6.0 application. Took lead role in re-configuring the ‘training mode’ feature of the application. Repaired application defects, and worked closely with the application testing team to insure accuracy. Worked with application testers to extract the business rules from the code in the application.

Primarily Designed, developed, supported and upgraded six applications that implemented MS Access Data Project with SQL Server 2000 technologies, with a later emphasis on updating those applications to ASP.NET. Projects included Elementary grade level report cards, student placement, analysis and reporting of a wide variety of data, state standards test results processing, and inventory management. Teamed up with a third party company on a six month project to design an ASP.NET application for the school Maintenance and Operations department using C#, ADO.NET, Visio Architect, MS Data Access Block, security integration with Active Directory, MS SQL Server 2000, and XML for navigation and access rights. As the only programmer in the organization, I was also responsible for all aspects of SQL Server 2000 administration including Installation, server and database logins/users, Roles, Permissions, database and log backup and recovery, and Jobs.
