Coordinate and conduct public relations activities for Utah's seventh-largest credit union to increase public awareness of and attract new members to the credit union. Cultivate relationships with selected businesses whose employees are eligible to join Deseret First. Develop annual public relations plan with strategies and goals. Answer media inquiries and accommodate requests for interviews with myself or credit union executives, including the President/CEO. Promote coverage of Deseret First in local media and national trade publications. Write and distribute news releases about new developments and public involvement of Deseret First, the credit union's stands on current issues, and to provide information and reassurance to members during crisis situations. Develop, write, and edit content for Deseret First's quarterly member newsletter. Coordinate Deseret First's participation in community events, including staff and material resources.
