Working at Minted advanced my digital design, interior design, and exhibit design skills. I learned how to work collaboratively on a large design team, and self manage on long-duration projects. I’ve developed a deep understanding of the stationary, home design and art curation, and B2B design industries. Most of my projects comprised of digital visual assets for trade (including art, wedding, photography and design verticals), and trade show event experiences and assets.

Before Minted, I worked on a small, in-house marketing team at Karl Strauss Brewing Company, based in San Diego, which allowed me to design, oversee, and produce a wide range of projects, both under the design and marketing umbrella. My main responsibilities included digital and print visual assets for beer brands, merchandise, exhibit and interiors, social media, web, and email. My scope also included Sales Department and retail account design support, Karl Strauss Distribution Company branding design and production, Group Events and Banquets marketing collateral, printing and inventory management, video/animation/editing support, Marquee Event design and production, and internally- facing digital and print design.

Working at an ad agency taught me how to design under tight deadlines, manage multiple clients, and work efficiently on a small team. The majority of our clients were in the hospitality business, for whom I designed eblasts, web and print ads, brand books, and wayfinding.

Support Learning and Development Department by assisting in the launch of the company's internal site. Design a range of materials for web, such as website layout design, web banners, etc.

Produced corporate branding materials and promotions such as e–blasts, mailers, posters, web banners, as well as informative charts and mind maps. My skill development focused around project management, branding identity, web design, and client relationships.

Working directly with the owner on a total rebrand of the business gave me experience in nearly all facets of print and web.
