Senior IMC Manager | 05/2015 - 07/2017
Fetsi was the Senior Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) Manager at Coca-Cola. He
reported to the IMC Director and also had a dotted line to the Global VP of Marketing for the Rising
World. He led a team of brand experience and sponsorship in East Africa, South Africa and SADEC
region. Fetsi was responsible for leading the Global Charter for one of Coca-Cola's global brand
across all the markets - COPA Coca-Cola. His responsibilities included driving the global alignment
and strategy for the COPA Coca-Cola brand asset and ensuring the strategy, direction and implementation is carried across all the global markets, managing all the South Africa brand
experience and IMC campaigns across all the consumer brands, building functionally capable IMC
and brand experience teams in Africa, working with the regional bottlers and marketing teams to localise brand plans and strategies with local nuances, exploring new and innovative brand leverage
opportunities, aligning with internal stakeholders to ensure execution of brand plans. His significant
contribution included leading Global Brand Marketing work across all Coca-Cola markets and building and implementing a global execution for COPA Coca-Cola; elevating the leverage approach
of brand marketing through IMC process; having the Coke Zero brand campaign be recognized as
Global Practice, launching the Share A Coke campaign in SA.
Coca-Cola (SEABU)
IMC Marketing Manager | 07/2013 - 05/2015
Fetsi was the IMC Marketing Manager at Coca-Cola. He was reporting to the Senior IMC Manager.
His responsibilities included the IMC planning, executing and reporting across all the brands in SEABU (South, East Africa Business Unit). He worked closely with the regions in aligning the brand
campaigns and ensuring the execution of these across the business units together with the brand
teams, bottlers and regional marketing teams. His achievements include the successful launch of
the PowerAde new brand identity in sport; Share A Coke campaign across the SA market and developing the Marketing Assets Framework.
Matchworld Agency
Business Director | 11/2010 - 07/2013
Fetsi worked at Matchworld Agency, division of Primedia Sport as Business Director reporting to the Marketing Director. His responsibilities included managing the business accounts for the agency,
providing strategic campaigns for the brands, ensuring client relationships are kept, leading a team of account managers in the execution and managing of client campaigns. He was also responsible
for directing the business to a profitable standard, building strong relations with clients and leading
inter-agency collaborations with other client agencies on campaign. Fetsi managed a portfolio of clients like ABSA, Sasol and Coca-Cola.

Matchworld Agency
Account Manager | 03/2009 - 11/2010
Before being Business Director, Fetsi started as Account Manager at Matchworld, reporting to the Business Director at the time. His responsibilities included the conceptualisation, planning,
executing and reporting of experiential campaigns end to end, working closely with suppliers,
agencies and logistics teams to execute the campaigns. His achievements included launching the
Visions Travel
Account Manager and a National Sales & Marketing Manager | 07/2007 - 03/2009
His responsibilities were to manage clients in the travel incentive industry as
well as responsible for the sales and marketing activities of Visions Travel. Visions Travel was a fairly
new player in the travel industry and Fetsi was tasked to grow the marketing and clientele of the company and while managing the existing clientele. His achievements include securing clients like
Sanlam; Abbott Labs and Sportron. He also managed to build the marketing department of Visions
Travel and the brand within the industry.
Impact Incentives
Senior Account Manager | 01/2000 - 07/2007
Prior to Fetsi joining Visions Travel, he worked at Impact Incentives as a Senior Account Manager.
There Fetsi was responsible for putting together travel incentive schemes for clients, choosing
destinations aligned with clients brief and budget, working closely with destination management
companies globally to put together the travel plans and experiences as well as airlines. He also
managed a team of account managers that he led to deliver on the travel plans.
Professional and Academic Experiences
In addition to a successful career Fetsi has had with major marketing brands, he also had the opportunity to be Tour Director in 2012 for the Manchester United Tour to South Africa, where he
worked with Manchester United to broker the arrangement to have their summer tour in SA and responsible for bring partners onboard, putting together a team to deliver the tour; putting together
a programme for Manchester United in South Africa. Fetsi has also been part of the Sports Industry
Awards judging panel, where the best sports marketing work in South Africa is recognised and awarded. Fetsi served as a Board Member for the Megapro Holdings (Holdings company for Matchworld), where he was responsible in advising and giving guidance on the business operations.
Fetsi also has strong business acumen, leadership and problem solving abilities, having being a
shareholder owner of a profitable Travel Company for 4years and also participated in several sports
marketing panels on the subject of Brand management and sports marketing.
