Franki Stephens: Stylist in San Diego, CA

I am currently a part time stylist at Belli Belli Salon. I work face to face with guests on a daily basis and have to address any needs they may have while making sure they are in a comfortable and enjoyable environment. Being a stylist requires me to always be time sensitive to not only my daily schedule but also the guests busy schedule and aware that I am on their time.

Serving at Davanti taught me time management and slowing down for the customers experience while also maintaining speed in my work ability. I continue to build strong multi-tasking habits in the workplace and put value on efficiency.

Serving at Shameless taught me the value of multi-tasking while staying productive and getting things done in an efficient amount of time. My responsibilities included seating customers at tables, taking and entering orders, delivering any food or drinks that my tables may want, and finally bussing the tables once they have left.

Duties of being assistant manager included keeping track of payroll, helping with weekly schedules, and hiring and training new hires. I also took charge of floorsets and both promo and window updates. I was there to represent Pacsun’s “Golden State of Mind” lifestyle and make sure customers left satisfied with their shopping experience.

As salon coordinator, it was my job to assist my coworkers with the duties of answering phones, booking appointments, relaying information about our services and products to our customers, and being the “face” of the company. Working at the front desk required me to know information about all services offered so that I could answer any questions clients may have had.
