Harrison Gonyon: Freelance Technical Designer

Work with the creative director of Gusto Creative to develop PLM system compatible/production ready tech packs, art set ups and select trims and applique for various FILA FUSION inline collections.

Develop custom match kit and fan shop presentations for professional and semi-professional soccer clubs in communication with the sales team and creative director. • Oversee print production files, manage international freelance designers and delineate design tasks based on priority and strengths. • Present original footwear concepts to creative director based on need for seasonal collections and special projects. • Streamline and standardize art and production templates and procedural instructions on the company-wide server for use by the entire art team. • Create original concepts for on-field equipment, accessories and cold weather gear through dialogue with the prodcution and apparel team.

• Develop graphics and CADs based on analysis of trend research for seasonal in-line sku plans, special collaborative capsules, and accessories. Solely responsible for 15-25 garments per season. • Merchandise vignettes within a collection through dialogue between our cross country, 4 division sales team and in-house production team. • File prep all individual styles for production (tech packs, art setups, pocket construction, trims, etc.) to ensure minimal edits to garments, material waste and improve cost effectiveness. • Dialogue with international factories in a fast and efficient manner (Proto/SMS comments, lab dip/strike-off approvals, send necessary swatches/trims) to ensure speedy proto and SMS sample delivery. • Work with interns to educate, encourage growth and develop interest in the apparel graphic design and digital design fields.
