My name is Harry Blake and I’m an operations leader with a track record of building teams that execute at a high level, both in the field and on-site. As Operations Manager for Omni, a fast- scaling personal logistics company, I lead a team of 14, including 2 Assistant Managers, where I implemented processes and systems to maintain accurate inventory of tens of thousands of SKUs, ensured our team’s Key Performance Indicators were not only met but surpassed, and lead the team to break multiple productivity records. I was responsible for cultivating and tracking data, company-wide reporting on goals and achievements and product management.

In the last 10 years, I have gained applied management skills and knowledge during my employment as Membership Coordinator for Alta/Capital Bikeshare in Washington DC, and prior to that as Campaign Director for Christs Church of the Valley in Palmdale, CA. I have been fortunate to have had an enormous amount of firsthand experience and autonomy throughout my professional history. I’ve taken directives and ideas from C-Level staff and put them into action. I’ve managed staff from as small as 3 to as many as 15 capable people. I believe these facts are what sets me apart from the pack.

Lead all efforts in Operations, reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer. Developed the training guide for all Operations Employees; Drivers and Warehouse Workers. Established best practices on routing efficiency, safe-storage, and internal communication. Created original weekly reports, presenting to the company at large. Tracked and managed all KPIs, implementing improvements ad hoc. Responsible for hiring/staffing, as well as, tracking work hours & submitting payroll. Presented quantitative data on hiring based on business demands. Worked closely with CSO to create and construct physical systems within Omni facilities. Operations Day-to-day point of responsibility and accountability in Operations.

Supported environmental sustainability throughout the District. Triaged requests for technical assistance; managing call-center escalation. Facilitated tracking and receipt of program materials.
