Accent Group Limited
Creative Manager / Lead Designer | 07/2017 - 10/2017
In my position at the Accent Group, I managed the entire Creative Department, which work closely with the marketing teams from each of the (retail and wholesale) brands, which included: Vans, Skechers,
Platypus Shoes, Stance Socks, Dr Martens, Timberland, K-Swiss, Palladium. It was my responsibility to make sure we not only produced artwork that was at a international standard but also made sure we
were fitting within each of the brand Global Guidelines
When I first joined the Accent Group, they were turning over $1 Millions dollar per year online, with
Platypus Shoes being the only eCommerce website. I played a pivotal part in the overhaul and launching of eCommerce for the group. In my last financial year at the Accent Group, Platypus alone
turned over $15 Million and collectively the group turned over $50 Million.
I also was heavily involved in growing the creative team. I was the main contact for all recruitment,
interviewing and on boarding of each team member.

Vortex Sportswear
Graphic / Apparel Designer | 01/2014 - 06/2015
At Vortex Sportswear, I spent majority of my time in Design, Pattern-making and Technical Design,
specialising in lifestyle, sportswear and outerwear clothing.
I designed everything from sports uniforms to supporters apparel. I designed full uniforms so that
teams would not only look good on the court, but designed uniforms for training and also for players,
supporters and coaches to wear to and from the stadium. Often working alongside the manufacturer to design one-off pieces. Others work in a team creating a whole range of mass-produced fashions, or
specialise in particular areas such as sportswear.
I also spent time at Vortex working alongside the factory to not only design but communicate detailed
instructions to minimise cost and ensure correct garment fit and function, in a new range of sports/life
wear.
A lot of time was also spent creating production ready tech packs, including technical drawings and grade specifications.
