Vertically integrated creative consultant with over 17 years of PLM experience. Specializing in art direction, product development, illustration, surface design, merchandising and sales we are available for on and off-site freelance and contract projects.

Seasoned in the surface design industry, I have been challenged to manage the design and development of seasonal and core products for Target Bulls-eye's Playground. Managing a small team we create product for 10-20 programs, 300-500 items, for all six cycles. Having a six to eight week time-line I am perpetually juggling development, design, production which is controlled by a high level of detail and organization. In addition, I have had the opportunity bid on and won several specialty programs style-guides including spring/summer and seasonally based trends.

Party City gave me the opportunity to redesign their seasonal merchandise presentation plans, visual manuals and graphics manuals, communicating corporate standards in over 500 corporate and franchise stores throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. The redesign synergized the back end of the manual (creative, marketing and visual merchandising departments) while my technical writing and illustrations facilitated efficient communication to store level.

Through my experience at Positive Publications I have creatively launched a new magazine and overhauled the existing magazine creating continuity while increasing the magazines digital profile making US Industry Today one of the leading B2B manufacturing magazines in the Americas. FDQ, Food&Drink Quarterly, was launched in December of 2005. Through the launch of FDQ I designed the magazine, logo and collateral materials. Through both magazines I was responsible for in-house advertising service which has refined my communications skills by allowing me to interface with a wide variety of clientele.

Working at a small advertising agency has instilled a strong sense of teamwork, dedication and the hands-on approach to conceptual design, copy writing and pre-press. My responsibilities included everything from designing concept to completion, researching demographics to delivering the direct mail pieces to the post office.
