Serving as the in-district representative for Senator McCann by building diverse networks with leaders in the business and non-profit sectors, while collaborating with sustainability leaders: Industry experts, advocacy groups, environmental non-profits, and state departments to discuss and interpret environmental metrics. Additionally, I serve as our lead for casework, which involves handling confidential constituent inquiries while working directly with state/federal liaisons to resolve their matters Building and managing District Office operations by heading the field organizing efforts for our Constituent Outreach Program by using VoteBuilder and MiniVan. Additionally, I conduct operations to ensure a safe and positive work environment by uniting and motivating staff to work collaboratively to achieve goals. Some goals consist of scheduling and coordinating events such as Office Hours, Coffee Hours, Town Halls or creating efficient and sustainable structures for tracking constituent inquiries and Constitution Outreach Programs. Managing and mentoring 6 interns by creating their canvassing schedules as well as assigning them individual tasks tailored to help them grow personally and professionally. Tasks consist will bill research and analysis, constituent responses, casework, or various projects with quick deadlines. Ability to deliver results in a highly matrixed and constantly changing environment by providing a system thinkers approach when conducting comprehensive environmental and sustainable policy research reports for the Senator's committees: Natural Resources Committee and Energy and Technology Committee. Additionally, I deliver legislative advice and bill draft revision under long-term and short term deadlines.

I served as the Program Coordinator of Election-Day Voter Protection for Kalamazoo County, where I recruited, trained, and managed about 20-25 volunteers at over 10 priority precincts on Election-Day. During this role, I exercised my willingness to become familiar with voter protection and election laws in under 2 weeks, while creating presentations and templates about voter protection laws and procedures for volunteers. Furthermore, I developed fast-paced coordination, management, and communication skills while remaining calm under pressure, which resulted in clear and precise communication between the Michigan Democratic Party, volunteers, and staff.

Immersed in different cultures to gain new and innovative perspectives on how sustainable practices can be applied in low economic settings. Instruction on sustainability: Our group built a permaculture plot for a remote village that was in need of a sustainable food source and constructed a second school out of pre-used materials such as plastic water bottles to reduce waste and promote best sustainable practices.
