United States Ensures product categories for each brand meet or exceed price point in relation to sales goals and margins; negotiates more attractive price points whenever possible. Works in conjunction with Accounting Manager on cost of goods sold; confirms acceptable wholesale pricing and terms as needed. Initiates and supervises purchase orders to vendors for Brands. Confirms ex-factory and delivery dates for all orders and monitors progress. Problem solves all production related issues. Occasionally travels to trade shows and to factories outside the United States. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises six employees within Production Department. Runs weekly meetings with Production, Design, and Sales teams to review delivery schedules. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems; notifying management immediately of any serious issues.
