Over nearly seven years of working at Bonefish Grill, gained invaluable people skills, including how to patiently and effectively work with a multitude of personalities. Positions held over the years include server and Guest Service Associate (GSA), which includes such responsibilities as diffusing customer conflicts and managing staff in difficult situations. Cultivated great strengths in multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.

As a teacher at Wellshire Parents Day Out, I taught four different sets of preschool-aged children over the course of an academic year, with the ultimate aim of implementing and strengthening cognitive, emotional and physical skill sets. I also completed several hours of continuing education courses relating to education, enhancing understanding of how children and adults alike learn and engage in both academic and non-academic settings

As a volunteer content contributor at Rebuilding Together Metro Denver, I proposed topics, points of interest, themes and story ideas to President and CEO of non-profit Rebuilding Together Metro Denver (RTMD) for the organization's website. Also created and organized monthly agendas for RTMD's blog, ensuring that content was applicable and accessible to intended audiences.

Wrote over 450+ articles ranging from news briefs to lengthy features on a multitude of topics revolving around the action sports industry. Attended and covered several industry events included SIA SnowShow and winter X Games. Through year spent at TransWorld Business, gained the skills to be well versed in WordPress, Photoshop and search engine optimization.

After being selected by an accredited sociology professor from 30+ applicants for position, wrote, graded and proctored exams for two large sociology classes, comprised of over 350 students each. Also reviewed material and guided students during regularly held office hours and facilitated discussions and taught students material during two regularly held recitation sections each week for the duration of the semester.

Pitched, wrote and self-edited 1-2 stories a week for the University of Colorado at Boulder's student-run online newspaper.
