• Responsible for managing creative direction and executing print & pattern for printable products (Tees, Tops, Hoodies, Bottoms, and Misc. Accessories) • Responsible for print & pattern of licensing and outside brand based on creative direction • Provide seasonal creative direction, print & pattern, and skate and snow hardgoods artwork • Manage multiple projects, prioritizing daily workloads, and ensuring established deadlines are met based on production schedules • Effectively communicate deadlines and project progress reports to stakeholders • Present creative direction and design concepts to stakeholders and offer input during creative review meetings • Prepare pitch and presentation decks for potential product collections • Create direct to consumer website and social assets • Facilitate photo shoots and photo editing for product and marketing materials • Prepare print ready artwork specifications and product tech packs for brands. • Responsible for print and color sample approvals including direct to garment on-site sample reviews • Act as a mentor to other members of both the Licensing and broader Zumiez teams. • Be well-informed of performance and department initiatives related to product development • Research and strategize local (LA), national, and international markets to identify print, pattern, branding, packaging, and apparel trends that support brand and customer • Develop strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and Product & Brand Services, and Licensing counterparts • Actively identify areas of improvement in processes and proactively find solutions • Create presentations and product line sheet for meetings with retail buyers • Delegate to and approve tech packs produced by Production Artists

- Research and interpret market trends and creatively design unique graphic solutions for various products and applications (i.e. tee shirts, packaging, trim, internal collateral, accessories, hard goods, etc.) - Collaborate with Apparel Design team & Sr. Graphic Designer to execute on seasonal concept deliverables and special projects throughout the year - Oversight of design process from concept through completion for small set of categories - Develop presentation skills by contributing to seasonal presentations and executing on presentations for small set of owned categories - Manage the tracking of artwork through the entire lifecycle - Work with Design team, Production team and vendors to ensure items are prepared and delivered on time and correctly - Partners with licensed vendors and Buyers on creating and preparing graphics for licensed product - May occasionally assist with administrative tasks (tracking, filing, artwork file maintenance) - Other duties, projects or requests assigned
