• Manage team of 30-50 associates across 5 departments in FTZ environment. • Monitor operational volumes daily, utilizing labor plan tool to tie operational productivities to current volumes and staff accordingly on a daily basis. • Ensure customer KPIs are consistently met on a daily basis. For past 2 years on-time shipping has averaged 99.96%, outbound orders non-conforming 99.98%, on-time receiving 99.84%, and inventory accuracy at 99.97%, well over pre-determined targets. • Implemented quality control program across all departments: o Improved method of cycle counting from ABC method to counting behind each system transaction, and driving inventory control team to perform at double productivity levels. o Established process which consisted of documenting nonconformities and immediately coaching associate while enforcing disciplinary point system, or fixing process in question o SKU accuracy went up from 97.5% to 99.3% the next year, and 99.6% the year after. Location accuracy went up from 98.5% to 99.6% the next year, and 99.8% the year after. o External customer claims went down from an average of 5 a month to 0, and reduced the amount of internal errors from an average of over 50 a month to 7. • Managed customers WMS implementation initiative transitioning from Red Prairie to Tecsys. o Ensured meeting all internal deadlines throughout a 10 month implementation timeline, ensuring project's initial go-live date was met according to customer requirements. o Completed super user training with WMS Application Specialist and managed completion of team's end user training. Performed various dry runs to ensure system and users were 100% ready and ensured productivity rates brought back to standard within 30 days. o Coordinated parallel processing between Red Prairie and Tecsys WMS to ensure functionality with customer ERP system as well as with FTZ management system. Took place over 3 months, scaling up from 10% of all orders to processing 100% of all orders for 3 week span. o Managed project to collect item master data for all 2700 items in the warehouse in order to ensure data transition was correct and up to date.
