Textilia is a textile wholesaler in Auckland, New Zealand, catering to high-end domestic and commercial textile needs. I was promoted into the Production Coordinator role in June 2015. The main purpose of my role is to manage and develop sampling for Textilia in New Zealand and Australia. My key responbilities include: - Manage and develop sampling for all brands - Textilia At Home, Textilia At Work, Camira, Sanderson, Zoffany, Morris and Co, Camengo, Misia, Duralee, Unique Fabrics. - Liase with Managing and Creative Director’s for the requirements of each sampling job. - Communicate job specifications right through to completion of job, to various people including Creative department, Sample Makers, Warehouse staf and others. - Organise world wide logistics for sampling - Maintain sampling stock on database; including purchase orders, transfers and reciepting of product - Maintain sampling cost database - Liase and support the Sales Account Managers, regarding sampling requirements f

My key responsibilities were: - Ordering/Maintaining the sampling library and servicing the NZ and Australia market by sending daily sampling requests - Recording loan samples using CRM Maximiser database - Deleting products/stock using Intech database - Organising and maintaining the sampling library - Overlocking fabrics - Give support to creative director and the showroom when required

Development of placement and yardage prints for woman’s wear - Liaise with Fountain Apparel on a daily basis via email or phone throughout the process of each job - Re-interpreting print designs from outsourced samples - Providing pantone colour specs for each design - Retouching of photos and artwork - Supplying a print ready file
