Member of executive management team responsible for global strategy to source and deliver raw materials, finished goods and services and negotiating terms, contracts and pricing to maximize cost savings in conjunction with vendor optimization. • Currently managing staff of 6 global sourcing and procurement specialists with the total direct and indirect spend of $30M+ with supplier base in China, Taiwan, Pakistan, Central America, USA and Mexico • Implemented Vendor Management Inventory program with domestic and overseas suppliers to reduce inventory and improve working capital • Review contracts and manage the renewal process to ensure alignment with current organization objectives • Negotiate and purchase decoration equipment, raw materials, finished products and services for the best, overall value, while ensuring that price, quality, lead-times and MOQs are consistent with organization objectives • Work with planning department to monitor sales (over 38M annual) and re-forecast (biweekly in season) by style and SKU to generate accurate purchase orders to meet expected delivery dates and reduce potential backorders or lost sales • Manage regulatory compliance and product integrity testing with emphasis on CPSIA and Prop 65 requirements • Generate presentations and meet with Elite Sportswear Commercial team bi-weekly to report out KPIs on product and margin performance, inventory levels and planning/production status • Work cross-functionally with key departments to deliver the right product at the right price and on time: ? Collaborate with Marketing to steer promotional opportunities and optimize media channels ? Provide Sales with assortment lifecycle and KPIs, acquisition tools and general education to better service our customers from purchase through order fulfillment ? Arrange inbound shipments, receiving and QC with the warehouse ? Review daily interdepartmental reports that help understand and manage the business Key Accomplishments: * Formulated and implemented a vendor consolidation plan across all Elite Sportswear brands that saved $1.2M in first 8 months * Sourced and delivered new GK footwear and uniform programs with short 6 month lead-time- 2019 annual revenue +22% over budget at $1.8M * Planned and delivered Core and Icon assortment program and strategy consisting of 15 core products as "never outs" and 57 basic products with 90% fill rate for 2019 season * Managed inventory liquidation project consisting of over 180,000 units equaling a $500k donation to Soles4Souls charity
