Managed 5 independent sales rep agencies with a total of 25 individual sales representatives. Responsibilities entailed managing sales reps and setting goals and targets for the territories. Combined territories had over $8 million in revenue I was accountable for. Managed large big box accounts, high volume ecommerce dealers, buy group accounts, Corporate market, GSA and brick & mortar. Increased sales year over year and organically grew the dealer base within the territory. Trained sales rep’s in the use and adaptation of Sales Force and CRM software. Regional Sales Manager, Hawke Sport Optics, Mid Atlantic & North East Territories: 2015 – 2016 Regional Sales Manager covering the territory from West Virginia to Maine. Manage all sales, product placement and marketing aspects of the dealer network in the territory. In one year I have cultivated and doubled the existing dealer network bringing on over 75 new dealers and anticipate a 25% - 50% growth in gross sales for the up coming year. I achieved this by researching and networking amongst the various dealer channels and selected whom to open, and which dealers will handle the full line and which will handle specific categories within the line. Our categories consist of Rifle Scopes for Shooting Sports, Crossbow Scopes for the Archery market; Binoculars for Outdoor/Archery/Hunting and Nature. The spotting scopes would be categorized in a like manner. The channels I am familiar with working in are Hunt/Fish, Outdoor, Cycle, Hardware, and several Action Sports. Currently working with Buy Group, Key Account, Big Box and Independent retailers in multiple channels. I am managing the product rollout throughout the Mid Atlantic and New England territory for the “Re-Branding” and product re-launch of Hawke Optics. I conduct regular visits to all accounts, working with Key Accounts to create Special Make Up products (SMU’s). Regularly handle all Dealer Clinics, Customer Appreciation events and Trade shows. Also regularly partake in product field-testing and receive recommendations from the dealer network to give back to Hawke product engineers to aid in furthering product development as well. I created and followed all budgets for the territory. This consisted of monies for Travel, Trade Shows, Product Allowances and Personal Sales Expenses.
