Joshua Matthews-Sims: In-Home Tech Expert

In this position I work independently to provide replacement devices to contract holders when they need one. I arrive in their home, assist with the set up and data transfer from the old device and train the client on how to use the new device most effectively. I participate in regular training and provide prompt and reliable service to our clients.

As a Sales Associate at Staples, I operated primarily as a cashier to ring out customer purchases. I also helped customers on the sales floor to find items, assist in stocking product and maintaining store cleanliness as needed, sometimes after store closure. As a Copy Center associate, I was tasked with providing customer support for customers utilizing the copy and print machines we had available, and also to perform copy and print jobs when needed. This including operating industrial quality printers, working with customers on layouts and formatting, and cutting and storing business cards and other documents.

In this position, I worked alongside individual customers to help them find, price, and purchase household appliances, furniture, and electronics. I found the best purchasing options for customers, and to recommend the needed additional items to make sure they got the best value. In addition to this, I assisted inventory specialists and managers setting up displays and new product, as well as assembling furniture if needed.
