My first priority is customer service to help grow our customer base and to provide high end service. I am also responsible for the merchandising of apparel and sports bras on the sales floor in the Portland, Maine and Brunswick, Maine stores. I re-merchandise weekly and rotate apparel as needed. I am also responsible for reconciling register deposits for each store, create bank deposits and record daily deposits on spreadsheet for corporate review. I am currently taking on the position of Human Resources compliance and benefits administration. I am attend bi- monthly management meetings in which we discuss ways to improve sales, customer service and general management trouble shooting. I have been able to increase the stores sales of apparel through merchandising and re-merchandising weekly to give the store a fresh look week to week and to highlight new apparel as it is received. I have over 25 years of retail experience and 20 years in running retail specialty. I have developed a high level of customer service over the years which I believe to be at the core of successful retail businesses. I use my customer services skills daily. I have also become skilled in the art of merchandising in order to showcase the products in the store. First impressions from the door are the most important!
