Connect patients with LLS core services and/or external resources soon after diagnosis. Territory coverage includes Utah, Wyoming, and Western Colorado.
Key Highlights:
– Contributed in the planning and execution of a large, regionally based blood cancer conference with more than 500 participants.
– Conducted community-base educational program in conjunction with Huntsman Cancer Institute for patients and caregivers to “Meet the Doctors” and discuss their specific blood cancer diagnosis.
– Organized and executed a pre-screening program of “Cancer: The Emperor of All Maladies” in which LLS contributed to the making of the film. More than 95 participants attended.
