Lauren Williams: Production Artist / Production Manager in south pasadena, CA

I currently work as a hybrid role of both production artist / production manager at a large format & digital print media company called Coloredge located in sunny Burbank, Ca. My production artist role entails working with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. One of the greatest opportunities working with Coloredge is being able to work with so many high profile clients and being able to broaden my design & creative skills, learning different style of designs and creatives that are particular to each client specifically, and also being able to contribute to those designs and/or layouts when requested. I specialize in design layout and typeset and I am forever learning more ways I can be more proficient and improved my skills as a digital artist. My role as a production manager requires that I am in charge of print jobs that we receive to fulfill and manage throughout the entire print process to ensure proper completion in the scheduled time that the job is due to the client. This involves working with Microsoft Office and our own production operating system called Virtual Ticket that processes the jobs through print production. This role demands a complete sense of organization, efficient multi-tasking, and constant communication among the different print departments within the company and other outside vendors/installation companies.
