We also provide professional services such as CIO/CTO, M&A, IT Assessments, Data Security, and Business Velocity Analysis to organizations in need of business alignment and reengineering. I have managed several large technology projects, IT teams, and vendors including an IoT (Internet of Things) system for Parcel Pending that offers smart locker solutions for apartment/condo complexes and college campuses across the U.S. and Canada. It handles the last mile of the everyday package delivery to residents and students.

I joined EdgeMAC to take the company and its mortgage underwriting software and other technologies to the next level and convert the organization from a financial services to a financial technology company, which involves performing new market opportunity assessments and designing, launching new products and modules, and integrating into other systems for enhanced productivity. I was responsible for defining and managing product development, making sure the IT department executes according to the approved strategy, and oversaw the day-to-day operations of the IT department. I joined a daily meeting together with the CEO and other executives to discuss operation’s activities and the challenges the operations may be facing with the internal and external portals and other systems, discussing market condition, the latest and the greatest, and potential products and clients.

I contributed to corporate strategy as the Chief Technology and Chief Product Officer on all levels and was responsible for market analysis, product design and resource management related to research and development of several B2B and B2C SaaS applications and database architecture, implementation, data migration, and continuous optimization and support of several applications/systems.

Directed two major IoT (Internet of Things) product launches including a $10M WA State Fish & Wildlife department smart card project.

Co-founded LogixInfo to realize the vision of connecting schools and classrooms to homes while providing state-of-the-art SaaS gradebook to all educators from small to large school districts. I was one of the few pioneers at the forefront of creating a brand new market. LogixInfo was acquired in 2002.

Led a team of 9 software engineers enhancing and managing over a dozen custom applications and systems related to photo scanning processes and digital photo enhancements of our archive.

Supported company efforts in the conversion of the Timeline’s accounting flagship from desktop to a client/server system. Designed and developed Timeline SQL MVS Wizard, an automation tool for MetaView Server.

Led an internal group of 10 developers/testers, three offshore teams and vendors for the localization and customer support of SQL Server and managed an annual budget of $2M. Directed all aspects of the localization of SQL Server versions 4.x, 6.x and 7.x into Japanese, Korean, French and German. Designed and developed several software tools including ‘Peak’; an application for automatic translation and version control of resources that reduced the time to market and cost by 35%.
