Naomi Loond: Writer in Wassenaar

For Round APP, I write two articles per week. Each article has to relate to the younger generation. By targeting a specific demographic, I was able to understand the importance of segmenting certain markets. I have also improved my communication skills by learning how to properly reach my target audience.

In this internship I would help with organization of clothes and making sure all operations of the organization run smoothly. Through this experience I learned a lot about the importance of communication and patience within a business.

During my last year of high school, I was the project manager for a fashion show in which we would pick 30 models and 10-12 designers. The money made from selling the clothes and tickets bought would then go to a charity in India called Action India. This project have me great insight into how to run a business and balance work with job satisfaction for yourself and others. Through this I learnt the importance of employee motivation and satisfaction in the workforce.

For this job we had kids from rural areas come to our school in which we would help teach them English and teach them basic education (reading, and writing). This job was very eye opening and taught me more about how we can successfully help others.

July 2017) During this internship I had to focus on finding the right influencers for specific companies. This required having to do marketing research of the company and their goals and aligning that with influencers that fit their criteria. This internship helped expand my knowledge and give me deeper understand of the marketing world.
