• Managing 3 person Operations/Customer Service team.
• Focus on systems and process improvements. This includes new customer setup workflow, determining cause and finding solutions for Logistics and EDI compliance issues, order processing workflow, and building reports to be used for better communication across multiple departments.
• Registering battery containing products on WERCSmart and forwarding to customers per their requirements
• Setting up customer item numbers in customer specific web portals, forms, and databases including 1WorldSync hierarchy item setup.

• Setting up and maintaining EDI Trading Partners in ERP and EDI system. Working with the third party EDI software company HighJump/Accellos/vSync. This includes creating inbound and outbound relationships for each customer in Gentran and GP Dynamics database: adding customer specific translation objects into Gentran Database, determining the best settings and cross-references to accomplish the customers’ requirements upon order import (850/875) into GP Dynamics, creating and maintaining ODLF maps for exporting 940s to warehouse, 856 shipping notice to customers, and 810/880 invoice.
• EDI troubleshooting. Researching and resolving customer compliance issues and rejection notices (864/824). Working with the customer and changing internal processes with 3PL warehouse and order processing team when necessary.
• Reviewing customer compliance guides, determining requirements that may cause chargeback fees if not met, creating system training documents, and creating customer specific quick reference guides.
• Worked with GP Dynamics and HighJump/Accellos/vSync to migrate to a new database. Analyzed and corrected system database files to remove duplicate records and ensure seamless implementation. After migration complete, reviewed system to determine additional cleanup of corrupted and unnecessary SQL tables created by previous systems manager and scheduled with HighJump/Accellos/vSync to remove the data.
• Updated internal item specification spreadsheet to include all attributes in a user friendly format. Worked with Product Development and Sales team to determine which configurations should go forward. Created item description and distributed the logic key to all departments. The new logic ensured that no description was more than 30 characters while allowing for easy filtering in database.
• Analyzing inventory to determine if rework is necessary. Creating reworks in portal, coordinating with warehouse to ensure completion of rework within required time frame. Working with purchasing when rework is not possible and product needs to be ordered from the manufacturer instead.
• Obtaining updated routing guides and compliance guides via customer portals and reaching out to customers and sales team.
• Analyzing carrier rates to determine the most cost effective choice per order and overall within customer preferred carrier lists.
• Researching and recommending additional software.
• Creating forms for use in all departments. Examples: New Customer Setup, New Item request, Custom configuration request, Customer specific order forms, and Customer specific pack lists.
