Managing the design process from conception through to production. Conducting shopping trips overseas to gather vital trend and product research and inspiration. Creating colourcards and inspiration imagery after receiving the season briefing from the creative director. Producing design packages for each style as well as each trim and fabrication, Creating hand drawn sketches along with detail drawings. Maintaining communication between all key members of each department, Graphic design, Merchandising and Production team. Creating garment mock-ups for overseas factories. Handing over each design package to representatives in Italy, India and China. Travelling to Hong Kong for handover meetings. Conducting meetings reguraly direct with suppliers at each proto stage. Managing fittings, corrections and alterations . Collaborating ideas with the team to develop good product including detailing, trims, colour and branding.

Setting design pillars, defining standards to add quality and depth to each product. Producing technical and hand drawn sketches along with all detail drawings. Creating techpacks for suppliers. Creating mock-ups for presentations and overseas factories. Managing fittings, corrections and alterations. Presenting concept ideas including detailing, trim, colour and branding. ASSISTANT MENSWEAR DESIGNER - (JAN 2017 - FEB 2018) -Assisting the senior designer with all design work. -Responsible for individual product groups - leather jackets and shirts. -Checks and stripe design for mens and womens collection, using easyweave and easycolouring software. -Creating colour cards, trim and fabric boards per season.
