This role involved: • Maintaining positive relationship with existing brands and setting up new ones. • Negotiating buying, payments and delivery terms and product selection. • Planning the budget, preparing Open To Buy (OTB) plans and forecasting sales. • Analyzing customer buying patterns and predicting future trends. • Regularly reviewing performance indicators such as sales, discount levels, stock management. • Keeping up to date with both online and brick and mortar competitor activity and constantly reviewing the strategy in light of competitor activity. • Ensuring stock levels reflect the business needs and are in line with the requirements. • Managing delivery schedule of intake, in close cooperation with the supply chain department. • Responsible for monitoring the market and realizing trends and market potential. • Identifying promotions/marketing opportunities and campaigns together with the marketing team. • Liaising with departments such as Finance, IT, Content, Photo production and CRM to ensure projects are completed.
