For more than 18 years, I've been creating, developing and managing brands for Hyundai, Piggly Wiggly, Nissan/Infiniti, Belmond Hotels, The Ford Plantation, Terminix and more. I'm a copywriter by trade, so I'm well versed in creating brands from the ground up, and giving the brands a tone/personality. I'm looking for an opportunity to utilize my creative, interactive and social media skills toward a great brand(s).

Manage a department of five creatives. Oversee all phases of creative work from beginning, development and execution. Senior member of Executive Management Team. Helped rebrand the agency after 40 years. Pitch new business, develop 360 degrees advertising campaigns, present concepts to clients and mentor younger creatives.

Create and write ad campaigns, websites, brochures and TV spots, as well as develop online content. 

Clients: Belk, Celadon, Cobble Hill Digital, Free Fly Apparel, Hyundai, Joie de Vivre Hotels, Orient-Express Hotels, Piggly Wiggly, Wild Dunes and Wild Wing Cafe.

Freelance Copywriter

As the brand voice for Orient-Express' North American properties, I create, write and evolve the brand across all mediums. This ranges from eCRMs and brochures to interactive campaigns and in-room brand touchpoints.

Properties: '21' Club (NY, NY), Charleston Place Hotel (Charleston, SC), La Samanna Resort & Spa (French West Indies), Maroma Resort & Spa (Riviera Maya, Mexico) and The Inn at Perry Cabin (St. Michaels, MD)

Lead Copywriter

Lead creative in the Nashville, TN, office. Wrote ad copy for Infiniti's regional accounts. Presented headlines to executives at Nissan's corporate headquarters. Upon arrival, dramatically improved client confidence and headline approval rate.

Senior Copywriter

Left the position after accepting a job with TBWA\Chiat\Day. With more than 45 employees, I was the only writer working on all accounts. Worked with five different Art Directors, and was able to create the agencies best work. One campaign was written up in the NY Times. I created campaigns across web, TV, social and print.

Copywriter

Worked with various clients on rewriting their websites and establishing their brand voice.

Worked alongside other creatives learning how to create and develop brands.
