Quinn Barrera: Planogram/Merchandising in Westminster , CA

I was hired during the Costa Mesa branch's remodel as a seasonal employee. After being hired as a "flow" team member which assisted in pushing merchandise during the graveyard shift, I was asked to work with the planogram team. The planogram team is responsible for changing aisles to new merchandise and seasonal products.

Assisting in the preparation of drywall restoration and installation. Learned techniques in drywall patches, hanging drywall, and mud work.

I was originally hired as a cashier during my first semester of college, however after the first year I was offered the opportunity to move to the pro desk to cross train as a sales associate and delivery driver. After learning the ins and outs of Home Depot's delivery services and "Buy Online Ship to Store" features I helped coordinate delivery routes and helped build customer's pro order deliveries.
